Buckwheat is a highly nutritious whole grain that many people consider to be a superfood. Buckwheat flour or "Kuttu ks atta" contains more fibre than whole wheat flour and is also a very good source of manganese and magnesium.

The protein in buckwheat is a complete protein, containing all eight essential amino acids.

Note: We mill the Groat into Flour on an order basis only.

  • Use 25-50% buckwheat flour in pancakes and quick bread, 25% will give mild buckwheat flavour, 50% will be more assertive.

Kuttu Ka Dosa

A crispy dosa recipe, where the batter is made using buckwheat flour and colocasia, and it's filled with a delicious potato mix. A great alternative to deep-fried kuttu puris. Serve with coconut and tomato chutney along with a bowl full of sambhar.
