Jackfruit Papads at Mangaal Farms is prepared in the traditional manner and is completely free of synthetic chemicals and added preservatives.
Made solely from fresh jackfruit pods and not from frozen or canned pods.
Cut and clean the raw jack fruit. Steam cook the raw jack fruit until soft and mash it well using a wooden pestle.
Jackfruit releases instant energy as it is easily digestible. The calcium content in it helps to strengthen your bones. Being a good source of potassium, it helps to regulate blood pressure. To increase the shelf life of papad, keep it in an airtight container. One can deep fry or roast the Papad.
Freshly handcrafted Jackfruit papad are available from the month of April to June.
Jackfruit Papad Uses:
- You can have Jackfruit Papads as a snack or appetizer, or as an accompaniment with rice or biryani.
- Prepare tasty snacks with these fruit papads by topping them with onions, green chillies, tomatoes, coriander leaves and a bit of green chutney to enhance the taste.
- Papad chaat can be prepared using crushed papad, finely chopped tomatoes and onions, boiled potato, chutneys or other zesty dips.
