Rolled oats, also called old-fashioned oats, are the most common type of oats found around the world.

Rolled oats are oat groats that have gone through a steaming and flattening process hence the name rolled oats.

They have a milder flavour and softer texture and take much less time to make than steel-cut oats. Oats are incredibly nutritious.
